Books dedicated in memory of Susan Duncan
Members of the Carrollton Kiwanis Club read to students in elementary schools on Friday, Febrary 28, in commemoration of the birthday of Dr. Seuss. Theodor Seuss Geisel (March 2, 1904 – September 24, 1991) was an American writer, poet, and cartoonist. He was most widely known for his children's books written and illustrated as Dr. Seuss.
Participating students were given a book containing a dedication to the memory of Susan Duncan, Kiwanis Past-President who passed away November 15, 2013.
Members of the family of Susan Duncan were presented a copy of the book given to particpating students. Each book contains a dedication in memory of Susan Duncan.
