Art Competition
 
Emily Zuniga, Senior at Mt. Zion High School, won “Best in Show” and was awarded five hundred dollars scholarship in the juried art competition for her collage titled “Cat Torn Apart”.
 
 
 
Morgan Collins, Senior at Central High School, won First Place and was awarded four hundred dollars scholarship in the juried art competition for her carving titled “Hard Edges”.
 
 
 
Abigale Sadler, Junior at Central High School, won second place and was awarded three hundred dollars scholarship in the juried art competition for her painting titled “Rise”.

 
 
Christian Mitchell, Junior at Villa Rica High School, won third place and was awarded two hundred dollars scholarship in the juried art competition for his oil/acrylic titled “Philophonia”.
 
 
 
Christy Cross, Junior at Mt. Zion High School, won fourth place and was awarded one hundred dollars scholarship in the juried art competition for her ceramic piece titled “A Second Chance”.
 
 
 
 
A total of ­146  entries  competed for scholarships in the juried art competition at the Carrollton Center for the Arts on Sunday night, February 11, 2018, where a total of $ 1,500 were awarded to high school artists from the Carrollton Kiwanis Foundation.
