Picnic 2008

The annual picnic for our sponsored Aktion Club members was held on Monday, Oct. 6th at the East Carrollton Park pavilion. Nine Carrollton Kiwanians attended and enjoyed a time of fellowship with these wonderful members of the Kiwanis Family. DJ Harris Johnson entertained the crowd with music from the 60's while Dr. Fred Richards was seen dancing and impersonating "The King of Rock n' Roll", Elvis. Others assisting with serving the meal and making friends with our Aktion Club members were Suzanne Durham, Suzy McCorkle, Susan Duncan, Bill Dees, Richard Dixon, Mike Renfrow, and Randy Miller. Also, Richard was happy to point out that this gathering' served as an Inter Club meeting as well.
